Benedictus will be holding its first academic research forum in Florence on 4th-5th July 2014. It will take the form of a study day entitled

Western civilisation: its foundations, embodiment and transmissions.

The Forum is being organised by Dr Clare Hornsby, Director of Benedictus and will be hosted by the British Institute in Florence. The Keynote Speaker on the evening of Friday 4th July will be Professor John Haldane.
